I had never heard of Theater de la Mode until Tonner came out with a line for Tyler. I love the designs and the history behind the fashions.
In the Spring of 2007, I had the opportunity to see part of the exhibit at the Maryhill Museum. The Maryhill Museum is a beautiful mansion out in the middle of nowhere on the Columbia River in Washington State. I talked my family into a Spring break road trip to Portland, Oregon. We drove over to Eastern Washington on the Washington side. The drive was beautiful, but slow. The Oregon side is an interstate highway.
I wasn't able to take pictures of the Theater de la Mode exhibit, but here are some pictures of our family on the grounds.
One of my next posts will have pictures of the several Theater de la Mode outfits that I have made for Gene and friends.

Um, cool pics, but I am disoriented. It's different, right? Like WAY different? Like, I don't recognize posts from December, and I'm pretty sure I read about Christmas an stuff from you? Please tell me I'm not crazy, because I consider your blog and you one I know well, and I'm suddenly thrown off--and a week behind. I think I am going insane.
I love the picture of the male peacock. So beautiful! Thanks for visiting my site. :)
Your doll clothes are stunning. There must be a lot of handwork involved with them. I find doll clothes frustrating, and mine never looked that good. WHERE do you get such great shoes!
Diane! Yay you are a winner! I'm so excited to get out and take some photos for you guys it will be a blast. Did you have anything specific in mind as far as time frame or locations that you wanted? Let me know,
Sarah
