The dress looks simple, but there is a lot going on with the neckline and skirt drape.

It took a while to figure out how to make the neckline.

I never did figure out how make the drape on the skirt,

so I just made a sash.

I spent most of the Spring recreating outfits for a huge Marilyn Monroe fan.

I found some great shots on the internet of Marilyn's cream/taupe suit. It is a beauty.















This is my version. I am happy with the way it turned out. I tried to find a darker cream fabric and matching fur, but it was impossible.

I loved the way Vince styled his doll. She is gorgeous!
