TDLM Lucien Lelong

This is my most recent TDLM reproduction. It took me a while to find the fabric. I was so happy to find this beautiful silk chiffon. I wish I had bought more. It took me a while to figure out how to do the collar and cuffs. I ended up making two separate bodices and sandwiching the skirt between them. I was very pleased how it turned out.

TDLM Martial & Armond

This outfit was made out of a tan and black houndstooth. I changed the skirt to a straight skirt.

TDLM Bruyere

This cocktail dress is made out of embroidered cream silk, black dupioni and black charmeuse.

TDLM Balenciaga

This was a commission. The black coat dress is made out of a beautiful silk crepe. The hat is made of wool felt. The cream coat dress is the Ashton Drake outfit "White Hyacinth".

TDLM Jacques Fath

I made this outfit out of cream and black wool. If I ever make it again, I think I am going to use cream suede for the jacket, to minimize the bulk.

TDLM- Jean Desses

This outfit was designed by Jean Desses. I made it out of a tiny black and white check and black wool. The hat is made of wool felt.

Tulip Dress

I found this beautiful fabric while I was in Portland Oregon two years ago. It is silk and the small print was perfect for Gene. I only bought a small piece because it was expensive. Last year I was in Portland again. I must say I love fabric shopping in Portland. The Mill End Store still had the same fabric, so I bought a little bit more. Now I am kicking myself that I didn't buy more of it. I only had enough fabric for two dresses.


Originally, I was going to make sheaths, but then I was inspired by a Silkstone Barbie outfit. I discovered after I was done, that this dress won't fit the AD Genes. I didn't realize that the Wu Genes are a little smaller in the bust.
